Meet the Team: Laura Nogales, Client Delivery Manager

22/06/25, 11:00

What’s your role at MiM, and what does a typical day look like for you?

I’m a Client Delivery Manager, and honestly, there’s no such thing as a typical day here! Marketing at MiM means being ready to adapt quickly to any unexpected tasks or opportunities that come my way. I like to structure my weeks around core responsibilities—for example, at the start of the month, I focus on preparing for the weeks ahead, while the end of the month is all about reporting. Between those periods, I’m juggling campaigns, meetings, and creative strategy sessions, so every day brings something new and exciting.

What is your favourite part of your job?

Considering no two days are the same, the variety keeps things fresh and exciting, and it means I’m always learning and sharpening my skills. Whether it’s mastering a new platform or discovering innovative methods, my role gives me endless opportunities to grow and improve, which is something I genuinely look forward to.

What has been your most memorable project at MiM so far?

There have been a few standout projects, but one that really sticks with me is working alongside the team to build a brand entirely from scratch. Seeing the client’s excitement and satisfaction was incredibly rewarding. On top of that, we went a step further by identifying the best platforms to generate leads and engage the target audience. Watching the client’s delight as the leads started rolling in made the whole experience even more fulfilling.

What’s your favourite tool, app, or resource that makes your job easier?

I’m a big fan of Agency Analytics! The insights we gain from it are invaluable. It helps us create content that truly resonates with the audience and allows us to pinpoint what performs best. This means we can use our time and resources more effectively, which makes a huge difference in achieving our goals.

What’s the first marketing campaign (outside of MiM) that really made an impression on you?

One campaign that left a lasting impression on me was Nike’s ‘Just Do It’. It’s such a timeless masterpiece that doesn’t just sell sportswear but promotes an entire philosophy built around ambition and perseverance. The simplicity of the tagline paired with powerful storytelling in their ads created a movement that resonated with people globally and inspired many to ‘just do it’.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

After an intense week of meetings and desk work on campaigns, I love unwinding by exploring historic sites or visiting new places. The best part? I always bring my drone along, which lets me take in the incredible sights from a bird’s-eye view. It’s a fresh perspective that adds an extra layer of excitement to my adventures.

What’s the last book, podcast, or film that inspired you?

I recently watched the latest season of Black Mirror, and as always, it left a lasting impression. This season’s AI and tech-related dystopian scenarios are equal parts unsettling and thought-provoking, but that’s what makes it so enjoyable! On the podcast side, I’m drawn to debates and discussions that present opposing viewpoints, whether political or sociological. I find these conversations not only help me shape my own opinions on current issues but also encourage deeper self-reflection. Lastly, on the film side, the Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings sagas are my utmost favourite and always inspire me in every way. God's Crooked Lines was one of the books I read a few months ago, and I encourage everyone to read it (and let me know what they think about the ending).

What’s the best piece of professional or personal advice you’ve ever received?

‘We’re only human.’ This simple yet powerful advice has stuck with me throughout my marketing career. It’s a reminder not to fear making mistakes, to face the unknown with confidence, and to trust myself. Everyone, including me, is doing their best, and that’s more than enough.
